Shakespeare presents goneril’s love as a person who exaggerated what says things she doesn’t mean just to get the biggest part of the land for her self but also I think she is using words of love to have all of the land.

In the opening scene goneril says as child e’er loved, or rather found. I think she uses that quote to give him the biggest part of the land.

In this quote Shakespeare uses a metaphor to show how goneril is manipulating her father.she uses the image of a weapon being drawn to her.
